HANC CLOSES ON LAND PURCHASE TO SUPPORT OUR GROWTH
The Hebrew Academy of Nassau County is thrilled to announce a land acquisition that opens the opportunity to build a new campus that supports all of our students in West Hempstead. This land sits adjacent to our property that houses the Early Childhood Center and now gives us more than three acres of land to serve as a foundation for a new state-of-the-art campus.
OUR SIGNIFICANT GROWTH
Since 2012 there has been significant growth in the West Hempstead and surrounding communities. This has translated into increased enrollment of more than 30% in the HANC West Hempstead Campuses. In fact, the 2018-19 academic year will record the largest intake of students in the recent history of HANC.
The need to expand our footprint in West Hempstead is more necessary than ever before.
To oversee this major project, we have formed a new committee to develop our plans for the next stages. The committee is currently speaking with architects to develop plans and renderings. Please check back to this site in the coming months for more information.
